Good Mornin Fellas, it seems arguments are still being active but none the less I will be plannin to make another trip - through LLO ( resupply ) and make resupply chests along my way :> Is there limitation how far does EMC wild go
because i like to go Adventuring, last time i got only around 3k blocks away, then my food supplies were running low, i am not searching anything particular
You'll have to show me that sometime. It sounds like another good event! Not sure on how it will be judged though… Prizes are another issue. We could give them an achievement, rupees and what else? And how are we going to get the rupees? What would be nice if this was a full blown all EMC event in which the staff and LLO (as host) work together to make the first EMC Olympics on EMC (Soul, yours is on another server so it doesn't count). That'd be cool. Then a few years later, another place can hold the Olympics. That is what I wish would happen anyways…

I think the prizes are the last thing we should care about. Planning the events and logistics (how to get people there? food supply? griefing protection? .....) are far more important. If those can be handled nicely I am sure a lot of EMC people will donate rupees and stuff as prizes.
Just putting it out there. As for food supply, I thought we could use the mooshrooms. We've got plenty of stations around the LLO. Just give everyone a bowl or two. Griefing protection…ask the mods to help out maybe?
Also we are going to need much more accommodation than we have. Some more guesthouses? Maybe some in the west. I will try to fit one into the Olympic Park.
I think everything needed for the event should be in one area. We do not want visitors to go around the whole LLO by rail all the time. At least for the official parts. Hopefully there will be new friends made and plans so people can invite others to party or stay. But as the LLOlympics I think it should be a big area with everything needed taking advantage of stuff we "invented" at the LLO like food stations.
SEXIST! I'm going to call my lawyer j/k. Sorry I ended up logging out guys. I went to check kittens and dozed off. Not felt well at all lately.
So maybe keep them in central LLO away from the Olympic Park but when events are on they can come and visit. But China Town and markets will be at the Olympic Park. And with the White Line extension East-West access is much easier. But like any big event people should just find accommodation anywhere in the LLO. And I am about to lose power for who knows how long so I won't be replying for a while.
Hmm. I am more an more liking the idea of having the olympics in a self-sufficient area, maybe in the west LLO. Like the olympic park will provide everything competitors and visitors need. Of course they can visit the rest of the LLO but I think they should not have to. We can reuse the facilities after the event too for other events.
