I am still offering the floors of Philo Tower (big skyscraper, dist. 3) for things like shops and businesses. I planned on having it be just like a normal skyscraper, with (hopefully) paying tenants running their businesses.

I have to disagree with the statement that "rupees are town money", as the value of a locked chest in the wild is far more valuable than the 1,000 rupees paid for it, but those rupees don't come from nowhere. I would like the opportunity to stay in the wild (as town is more creative mode, which presents no interest to me), yet still be able to make more than the daily sign-on of 100r. I like the idea of having our own 'economy' of sorts out here. Since there are none of the protections and sales systems out here, though, we will be based more on mutual trust and a sense of fairness, and with no sales chests, transactions will be 'face to face' and help facilitate more social interaction within the community. I understand the reluctance of some members (trust me, I don't like the corruption that money often brings, either), but considering how effectively we've been dealing with griefers, I think the 'wild economy' experiment just might work. Peace. ;D
