  1. I'm not sure about 1.16, but on 1.15, there definitely is a world edit mod, as far as I know the same one as on Forge! :) (but with a different file)

  2. Oh, interesting! It appears one of the other contributors took over the project and OptiFabric is now... existent again! That's neat! (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/optifabric, since I don't trust 9minecraft at all)
It does! https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/worldedit/files/all; select the version you're running and make sure to download the file with the name "Fabric". For Fabric 1.16.1 this is the direct download link. :)
Also: WorldEditCUI! Amazing tool used for seeing your WorldEdit selections. Can also be used for subzone creation! :D

  3. Well then! Looks like I'm officially going to be converting to Fabric. :D
  4. Milo, us Fabric users welcome you with open arms. :3

  6. I have begun working on my mods and suddenly EMC is announcing the waste reset for "Dec 18th" which I know from experience to mean a day or two after. But even so, I am having trouble getting things done without being kicked. I updated my java and that seemed to help. But i was gonna add Optifine just to see if it would help. I prefer to run 1.15 still as there are issues with horses/boats/and kicks with 1.16 right now.

I think I understand that I need an Optifine file to work with the OptiFabric? A little clarity would help. I think it was the Sodium didn't have 1.15 version

  7. That's right. :) If you don't mind not having shaders, I highly recommend Sodium when updating your mods to 1.16.4. Keep in mind you can't have both OptiFine and Sodium, though; they both modify the same code for performance benefits, with Sodium having more of a benefit on most configurations.

  8. Well, the education continues. I don't seem to be finding the correct optifine to download. I used the link on the approved mods list, but 1.15 is greyed out and says "preview" file. Also my computer warns that that link is attempting multiple file downloads with one click and having a fit.

To throw caution to the wind and just 1.16 it and chuck this mess or try again - that is the question.

  9. Often there are many scam links on the "look at this ad while it loads". I recommend uBlock Origin adblocker in these cases. Try this link for 15.2 OptiFine: https://optifine.net/adloadx?f=preview_OptiFine_1.15.2_HD_U_G5_pre1.jar
Well, we're updating in under two weeks, so why not go for it? I've been on 16.3 and .4 since they both came out, issues are minimal for me.
  10. Don't want to bother updating your Fabric mods, finding dependencies, etc.? I've done it for you! Here's a modpack I've assembled, with the mods I personally use :)

  11. Updated/tweaked a couple things, bomp :)
  12. This guide has been updated with 1.17.x instructions. The guide seems a lot shorter now that the process has been simplified somewhat, but oh well :p
