In a moment of pure genius and sadistic horror, I decided I would like to put 20+ players in a hole, lock them on difficulty 10, and summon in 20 withers at once. To my knowledge, this is the first player hosted death event. This event has been 2 years in development because I'm lazy, not because it's difficult. As my overdue 5 year anniversary event, I present to you: Withering AwayAn event by Petezza Industries in collaboration with Tbird's Big Dig event. Tuesday the 14th of July @ 5pm EMC time How it works: We will be meeting at a TBA location sometime this week, where I will have set up a system to summon 64 withers at the flick of a switch, which will proceed to attack everyone present. You may keep any Nether stars or other drops you collect, and at the end, the player with the most Nether stars wins 1 million rupees. Optionally, you may stand on the glass above and view the carnage, but I cannot guarantee this will keep you safe from the withers tendency to teleport on high difficulties. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any items you lose during this event, bring your god items at your own risk. Staff have already given me the go ahead to host on the condition I make this very clear. I may make this a recurring event if it goes well, however the 1 million rupee prize is one time unfortunately Date and location to be announced shortly.
