The title means just that... a vote bonus leaderboard. I don't know anything about web development, but it looks like it wouldn't be too hard to implement this. The data appears to be already stored somewhere because bonus numbers are displayed on the voting page. I would like to know what you all think about this!
Great minds think alike https://empireminecraft.com/threads/suggestion-leaderboard-for-vote-streaks.70804/ Mine was moved to archives though without any answer.
Hahahaha... I didn't see this in the list of suggestions before I posted, but then again, the list might not have been updated. It would be awesome if this were implemented.
Well, I still stand behind my comments in ThaKloned's thread. (supporting the idea) Let's see if we'll get an actual response this time. In which case it would be nice if ThaKloned's thread would link to this thread... Oh, actually, something has changed since the previous thread! There are now leaderboards for monthly and lifetime referrals. This must mean it's possible to add new leaderboards, right?
It's a nice a good idea, but there's already some people who are so far ahead they could never be surpassed. Maybe a seperate leader board that shows the longest actually maintained streak Vs the one you have in game which never really goes down even if you stop voting for a while? Like for example I only recently started voting again but I'm on vote bonus 430, a newer voter could only be on vote bonus 50 but has a longer more recent continous streak than me, but I'd still appear higher up. So I'm suggesting two leader boards, the basic one that displays the same number as in game, and the one I just suggested.
Anyone could be surpassed if they stopped voting. This old style streak is not kept track off, I'm almost certain. But perhaps it can be easily calculated.
Some changes have been made to the site data source since the original thread which changes the 'availability' and why you're now able to see it on the site page. I can't make promises, but I can discuss with devs and see feasibility of making it into a leaderboard since the data is now stored more accessibly. I would probably say we'd keep it simple in terms of just straight numbers, not trying to separate increasing streaks from basic.
