Yes. However, choose one that suits your needs- smp5 and smp8 have a lot of public utilities that I think are the easiest to access. Smp3 and Smp9 have different options.
cT brings up a good point, smp3 has a ton of free to use public farms (enderman, guardian/squid, gold, etc.) so really pick a server based on what you will find the most use of
I'll be honest with you, I voted with my 9 accounts for smp6. However, I still abide my vote for smp6 due to being a new beginning server. There are a lot of open/derelict residences which you can claim and new public utilities are being built. There are also newish members that are a blast to talk to. It's an easy going server with occasional talks, it's really nice. If you are going to smp8, I suggest earmuffs, because it's going to be filled with lots of banter.
Eight hours, are you in a hurry? I have hardly played for the past years, but sometimes I do. The last few times (so this year ) I have noticed that smp7 is again getting fun like it used to be, and smp8 is actually getting more silent and less knit together. I don't spend enough time on the other servers to tell anything about those. But I'd have voted for smp7.
Well, I think it's clear which servers won. Obviously the players on SMP4 and SMP9 are so busy playing that they simply don't have time for polls such as these. Therefor those seem like the best candidates to me (all joking aside I do think the SMP9 community is pretty cool, I spend some time there when on my outpost and sometimes there are nice chats going on in community chat)

Smp7. We have chat going almost all the time and it's not as weird as smp8 (you might afk and come back to a marraige fish, no joke) and BurgerKnights sacrifices (REALLY nice place to visit). Smp9 has their stealing of souls to give to Hashog (unless that ended). So smp7, friendly and we now have a ton of staff as residents there.
I guess that's open for interpretation. But, well, I can see that it can be tough to see a monologue of me complaining about weather for a few hours... I don't even know if that's any better than my Maths monologues... Tom is nice though...
