  8. Its tiiiime, Sachrock & I are playing him rn, hes pretty good so far

    So far the only OP thing about him is that he can go through Rein shields. He gets extra damage with his Rocket if he punches you up a wall. His cool downs also arent very high so its easy for him to continue rocket punching. His Ult is pretty cool,it brings up an area you move around and he strikes that area with a huge blow, it kills squishies and half way damages tanks.

    Havent found a counter yet, my main Widowmaker does take him down in 2 shots and an Anna also takes him down easy but theres still the chance of him killing (the Anna combo of sleep & her tiny bomb work well with him). For right now my best guess is probably Anna since ive sleep darted a few of them who tried to Rocket Punch at me.

  16. I actually disliked Doomfist's video (if that's what you're referring to here). I think they had a lot of potential to make an animation of the prison break. They would have been using a large amount of characters. Sombra, Reaper, and Widowmaker (Talon broke Doomfist out). Pharah (She's a Helix Guard, if I remember correctly, and she doesn't have a video yet). And Doomfist, obviously (Talon and he's the main escapee). I personally enjoyed in the original Sombra video watching Talon attempt to gain access to Volskaya and I enjoyed the quips they had with eachother (Like Sombra closing the door on Reaper), so I think it would've had solid fan feedback.

  17. Maybe you already know the difference, but this was an origin story, not an animated short. The Volskaya break-in was an animated short as well. They may plan to release an animated short for Doomfist in the future, but for now, they have only released an origin story. Keep in mind that Sombra also had an origin story that simply revealed the character, similar to the Doomfist origin story.   18. That's actually a good point that I completely overlooked, thank you.

    Now for my stories of the day. I got put in 3 games with the same person (in a row) who refused to play anyone but Mei. They were not a good Mei. As you can probably figure out, we lost those 3 games.

    The fourth game I played was on Eichenwalde (finally without the Mei). We started the game with a 3/1/2 and the other team was using a cancer comp. Our DPS was okay, but nothing amazing (partially my fault because I was diving while the rest of the team didn't). So we had a Genji who starts cursing me out saying I'm throwing because I keep dying, so we start trying to coordinate. We've got 1:30 left, plenty of time to get the first point. Well this Genji decides he's just going to start rushing in over and over, while knowing nobody else is going with him. I call him out for throwing (which at this point he actually is), and his response is "well we're going to lose anyways". We got no portion of the objective captured and moved on to defense, and he began it by trying to tell me I'm the reason we lost because I was "throwing" by dying. I then screamed at him for 2 minutes. We lost the game.

  19. If there's one thing for sure about Doomfist, it's that he's going to be a handy addition to Talon and the game. Anyways, what do you guys think about his voice actor?

    That aside, Doomfist seems like an extremely strong character, especially in the dive meta we're currently in. His cooldowns are short and he has ridiculously high mobility. His rocket fist can go straight through any shields and he basically destroys D.Va. Also, imagine his Meteor Strike with Zarya Grav :D
