also, please if possible update all previous soulbound gear to soulbound+ We dedicated voters have worked hard to get them and it would be ashamed to lose them to pvping in the wild.This would be much appreciated ^.^

On many PVP servers, waiting at the edge of the non-PVP zone is called spawn camping and is a bannable offense, I wouldn't be surprised if we did the same here should all of this happen.

This is a good joke but...
-on the front page it says no pvp
-on the banner it says no pvp
-on the voting websites it says no pvp

I just want to clarify this for everybody: this is not an April Fool's joke. Unfortunately because of bad timing people are thinking it is, but it is not. This is very real, and I can prove it. Think about the many decisions made over the past few months:

• Buying promos in /shop - this was not always the case. Due to the drop in funds and in the number of incoming players decreasing, EMC needed another way to get money. Think about it, you want a few more of that special promo, but you don't have the rupees. So you buy $10 worth of rupees, which is 95k, and buy a few more promos and have some rupees left over.
• The winter specials are still going - if you look, you can still buy the winter special voucher packs. But christmas and winter have been over for a while. So why are they still available? For more cash of course, with the cheapest being $50.
• Now, JackBiggin is streaming Empire events online! Why? To get more and new players from other places to join of course! And since he gives stuff away every video, people watching will want to join just so they can get this free stuff.
• Now, remember the 100k members promos? A full set of enchanted diamond armor and tool set were available as promos! What else could be a sign of preparing us for full time PvP?!
• Now think of the Cupid's Bow. This bow used to lose durability with use, but now its unbreakable. Staff said it was because they wanted us to "spread the love" but rather, it was because they wanted us to practice our bow skills.
• The friends update - we need another easy way to make sure that when out in the wild, that "friends" can work together without accidentally hurting each other.
• Forming groups - you can already turn PvP on and off in groups, and although this is currently meant for PvP, I bet one of the developers has already written the code preparing to allow us to use it in the frontier

Like it or not, EMC needs this to stay alive. It is obvious that the staff team have been preparing us for this update for a while now, probably ever since 1.9 was announced to be the "combat update."

My personal opinion is that we need this, badly, because with out it this server may just close, forever.

Edit: For those who are saying that it would not have been difficult to wait another day to release this, think about this. Kryssy is getting married this weekend! How do you think the staff team is holding up without Kryssy being involved in any of it? Usually it is Kryssy who releases this stuff, not BigDavie. The staff team are probably all confused without her there to direct them.

If you look around and press the "More" button thing up top it says "Minecraft Survival Servers No Pvp" and when you press on that it says "Most of our features encourage players to team up and fight monsters, not each other. DONT BELIVE ANYTHING THEY SAY .
