We have a few signs that explain things around the place but I was thinking that a community notice board located near the welcome centre would be good. We could have guidelines but also people could put up news when they want everyone to know something (eg there are now sheep of every colour except purple and magento!) But a FAQ in this thread could be good. Or we could further and set up a specific website. Questions I've answered before are: - can I shear sheep? Yes it regrows when they eat grass - can I kill chickens? Yes if you replace the ones you killed with eggs (plenty in the chest) or by breeding (feed wheat to two chickens) - can I harvest wheat? Yes if you replant the field - how do I ride the rail system? With minecarts (requires a bit of explanation) - can I take things from unlocked chests? Not in someones house but in the common areas like the farm (kind of like real life) - where can I build? Anywhere thats not right up against someone elses house in case they want to expand - will anyone help me? Yes everyone here is very generous. We have great supply of everything having been in the wild from the beginning - wow this place is amazing aren't you worried about griefers? Yes - are there any rules? No - but aren't all the things you just told me rules? No they are common sense
Right. And the other things are more like exceptions to that rule or explanations. Like how to use a farm without making it griefing etc.
In my days on EMC I have only found () spawners. But what you are doing is amazing for our community.
