Can't wait to see that! Most awesome scene in all the movies! (unless you care more about the plot than the explosions and special effects )
Let me just tell you this, don't get your hopes up. It's a piece of crap imo. Only reason I'd "win" is creativity and minor details with accuracy.
Me. Every. Minute. Of. Every. Day. Because. I. Need. To. See. Them. Why. Do. I. Do. This. To. Myself.
Ok I take it back. There is a scene in the new movie that is WAY cooler! (Not saying any more than that... I know some of you haven't seen this movie yet )
Yea nothing is a piece of crap if you need your best and you think looks good then go with it. Never doubt your work, remember you are biggest critic.
So unless Krysyy lied to me (and she probably did) results are in less than 48 hours!!! Who's HYPED?!?!?!?!?!?!
If Sean is patient (and he usually isn't) he'd remember I said that it should be within the first 2 weeks of January, but we'd have to see. I never promised anything. I understand you are excited, but as I explained to those on mumble, I've got a few irl dragons to slay atm.
If I remember correctly, I'd say a few is an understatement xD Also I usually amn't patient (yes I put amn't there on purpose). #WeDontNeedNoEducation Tbh I'm so obsessed with Fallout now I haven't been on EMC much. Just wanted to bother you a bit, even in my absence. What good am I if I'm not pestering you?
I may be missing this but is there a list of the reses where Star Wars builds are on so we can go look at them?
Not yet and some of them will be offline, in private worlds. When I announce winners is when I will list what players have allowed to be public.
Well, I'm excited to see what everyone else built, as I've only seen one other entry besides my own, and it was very cool. I assume we're allowed to share screenshots, though, right? I built the bulk of mine in the first few days, for hours at a time, then burned out and let it sit for over a month, adding only minor little tweaks before submitting it. Here are a couple shots I took on November 10th, at ~9:50pm, i.e. 61 hours after this thread was created (the "finished" product looks basically the same). Oh, and the entire thing is built vertically, since it had to fit in a 60x60x256-block space. It's a Corellian Corvette, the type of ship you see in the opening scene of the original movie, being escorted by an X-wing, a Y-wing, and an A-wing, fending off Tie Fighters and Tie Interceptors. You can imagine that this happens right before the opening scene - that this is the Tantive IV, Leia's ship, before the Star Destroyer catches up with it. Good luck to everyone!
