If you read the title and got ready to fire up your 4K monitor, prepare to be disappointed. Minecraft 4K is just a special edition of Minecraft, and is even more pixelated than the regular game. It also only has six blocks and you will end up on the same map every time you play it.
Minecraft Add-Ons: A Minecraft Pocket Edition Tutorial
Since 2010, users have been waiting on the official plugin API for Minecraft, which is a system promised by Mojang that would simplify the process of adding modifications to all versions of the game, through Minecraft add-ons.
Although regular computer edition users will have to wait a little longer, Pocket Edition players (including those on the iOS, Android, Windows 10, Gear VR, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV platforms) can enjoy it now. Last October, Mojang released Alpha version .16 on all Pocket Edition platforms. Along with a ton of new features, it introduced some early aspects of the long-awaited plugin API, with official support for making ‘add-ons’ which change the game’s look and mob behavior.
Fun Minecraft Challenges
Sandbox games offer players the tools and let them create their own fun. Each player can create their own entertainment using the tools provided however they see fit. When people see Minecraft, some create complex redstone creations, some recreate scale models of cities, and others find their enjoyment through more modest means. Sometimes though, it can feel like you have run out of Minecraft challenges and that all of the tools have been exhausted. In times like this, it is best to use a little creativity and make some new, fairly useless but fun, Minecraft challenges. With this in mind, let’s take a look at some ways to keep Minecraft challenging and fun.
Mathcraft – building an arch
Buildings in Minecraft can actually follow certain shapes or patterns. Making an arch in Minecraft can be a challenge if you don’t know what your doing. Luckily, the quadratic equation can help map out where to place the blocks of an arch so that you can build something that will blow away those who see your creation.
MathCraft – linear equations
Minecraft may seem like your standard game, but it is much deeper than it appears. This iteration of MathCraft Is all about linear equations and their uses in Minecraft. Many of you may already know about these, or maybe you don’t quite know what they are. Either way, you will hopefully learn how to make your next build even better.
