Greetings EMC! This post is to introduce you all to my 'Castle Events' build in Utopia (res# 5304,) and post updates as they come along. Castle Events is a majestic castle themed party area with hours of fun to be had! There are rides, attractions, public amenities, and both single and multi-player games. Click the links below for a description of each attraction. Please note that some attractions are only available during official events, or per private request. Gates of Hell Lava ParkourTry to keep your cool and make your way to safety in the Gates of Hell Lava Parkour! Cost: This game is free to practice* (yields no prize.) Prizes: Varied. Ship WreckClassic bumper-boats game. See who can keep their boat afloat the longest. Last dry player wins! Cost:Free to play with friends.This game requires a boat. The Fishing Arena While there are no set rules or events for the fishing arena as of yet, it is a beautiful spot to sit back, relax, and see what you can reel in. Cost: Free to use. Race TrackBe the first to get your pig to the end of the track! Cost: Free to race with friends. This game requires a carrot on a stick. The Guessing GameThere are 2 items in item frames hidden behind a wall, per round of guessing. During guessing periods, players take a book and quill (provided) and write their guesses of what could be in the item frame (Specifying their guess for Game#1 and Game#2.) Players then sign the book and place it in either of the chests provided. At the end of the guessing period, the wall is dropped to reveal the framed items. Any players with one correct guess matching the game number will win 500r. Any player who guesses both games correctly will win 1000r and a named and dated trophy of each item included in that round. Cost: Free to play Prizes: 1 correct guess – 500r, both correct guesses – 1000r and trophies. Hours of Operation: Guessing periods are not routinely scheduled as of yet. New rounds of guessing will be announced in a separate Event thread: The link will be provided here when it is established. (Not Established) Rules: Items can be anything that can be placed in an item frame. One guess for each game, per guessing period. The MazeBeat the maze and win the loot. The first player to find the exit wins the grand prize, with many more prize chests located throughout the maze. Dragon EscapeA test of speed, agility and reaction time. Avoid the debris and destruction for as long as you can. Cost: This game is free to play, but may be pay-to-play or inactive during some official events. Prizes: Small prizes drop into the prize room on a timer. The longer you play, the more you win. Hours of Operation: This game is free to play, but may be pay-to-play or inactive during some official events. Rules: Please only one player at a time in the active player area. The Rising Blocks Game Players enter the game area and choose any yellow block to stand on. All players must stay on their block once chosen. From a separate area of the residence, 3 levers are chosen by a Castle Event’s member to switch on. These switches cause 3 blocks to rise, identifying our winners in the game play area. A second Castle Event’s member, located in the game play area, verifies and announces any winners. If no players are chosen, a new round may be started. Cost: Free to play Prizes: Varied Hours of Operation: This game is only available during Official Events. Rules: Players must quickly choose a block and remain on that block. Ice-skating rinkMissing the night sky? Skate under the full moon or relax fire-side in this wintry dark-room. Cost: Free to visit. The Castle-Top Coaster Enjoy the view from the top of the castle on this old-timey wooden coaster! Cost: Free to ride. This ride requires a minecart.
