We won't restrict them, because it wouldn't be fair to players who live out in wild bases that are unreasonably far to have to travel back to town simply to find a few mobs that others can very easily without having to switch servers and NOT be able to use them in their own wild towns.
Everytime I go out to the wild now there's at least one enraged mob and tons of skeletons, like I can just see 6 or 7 skeletons swimming in a river waiting for someone to walk by.
well altho i'm not fully in agreement with this newest version of mobs, i can say to each their own and i guess if i want to live in the wild i'm gonna have to hire a bodyguard from now on. and as basic knowledge of fighting skills towards mobs goes that does still apply to the regular mobs yes but it takes alittle more skill and apparently several hunting buddies to survive the wilds and wastelands. my solo mining routine will forever be haunted and altered lol.
I am not sure what you use for equipment and tools. But I would recommend getting a high knockback on your sword. They aren't always the best for offensive tactics; but if you are just trying to keep moving - can be pretty useful
yeah thats what i used to keep the creepers away from me, seems i will need it more then ever now lol
just read 37 pages about one update daaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up to now, it was enough to wear average armor and carry average weapons. A player with above-average equipment was way overpowered. Sometimes, I didn't even care if a skeleton was shooting at me constantly. It could shoot for 1/2 hour and do nothing but damage my armor a bit. Now, two things are needed: a) know what armor to wear (protection 3 / 4 diamond, optionally with unbreaking 3), + repair it before going out, b) up to now, sheer protection and power was enough. From now on, you need to add wits and outsmart the mobs. It's not that hard. Only until then, you don't really have choice whether to go mining alone. You know ... never go mining alone.
There is something wrong with shiny arrows. They do not stack properly and inventory tweaks (and the game) crashed when trying to sort them.
If enraged zombies/creepers/skeletons are supposed to be rare, they aren't for me, I already have four bows, and they spawn just as often for me as any other normal mob.
I see what you mean, but doesn't it therefore follow that you should just move from Easy to Normal mode? Whereas here you'e moved to Normal mode AND added some very powerful new mobs on top of that. Which to me seems to swing it quite a lot the other way.
