  1. "Rupee History: Search" is exactly what it sounds like; it's a search bar where you can search player's in-game names and all the payments to and from that player will be displayed.

This would significantly reduce time from scrolling through pages and pages of one's rupee history, and it could possibly save the community from going bonkers. :p

Rupee History: Search was suggested in 2012 ( http://empireminecraft.com/threads/rupee-history.11187/ ) and was brought up again in June of 2014. This suggestion has been liked by many staff members and admins, but no progress has been made to implement the idea (from the public's knowledge). Why isn't this a thing?
  2. Does that mean that I would be able to search anybody's rupee history? If so then I personally would not be in favor of this.
  3. Just those you have paid/received money from.
  4. No, it's a search bar for your personal rupee history. It's so that you can go back and look over any rupee transactions that were given to you or that was given to someone else.

  5. Oh, OK, in that case I think that would be a great idea. +1

  6. I would love this! I wouldn't have to go through 10 pages or 1r spam to see if someone paid for my auction :p

  7. I. NEED. THIS. NOW. PLEASE. Sorry for caps!
I need this feature now! +1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
  8. Nice idea, I spend a long time looking through my rupee history trying to find payments. +1
  9. Awesome idea! :)
  10. +1

Might be useful in some cases
  11. So, this search bar would be on-site under the rupee history tab? I like the idea, as long as it's easy enough to implement into this particular version of XenFero then I'm all for it :)
  12. Well, it's easy enough to implement in this version of XenForo, but upgrading XenForo would be a hell (everything needs to be recoded or transferred to the new version)
  13. Aikar plans to upgarde to a new version some time in the future so I'm not sure if he wants to implement lots of stuff into this version before he upgrades, because as you say, it would be a hell :p (Probably is going to be anyway)

  14. Considering how rupee history exists, this is easily possible.
  15. Rupee history does in fact exist, though I'm not sure how easy it is to have a search system within it on XenFero. I haven't worked on that kind of thing so wouldn't know how easy it is to implement but from the sounds of it, this version of XenFero can be pretty restrictive...
  16. Search is just going through a MySQL table of transactions and finding any that contains the inputted information. While Xenforo might be restrictive in terms of API features, native PHP is not.
  17. Upgrading Xenforo is something that needs to be done and coding it now would only make it harder and more time consuming

  18. Not denying that. Everything custom on the site was done the wrong way.
