[SUGGESTION] In 1.16 Update, Allow Final Diamond Items to Netherite (Denied)

A simple suggestion: don't limit Final items from the smithing table. This will allow an upgrade to many items, including a way to progress voters gear up one damage point and speed up digging. Besides, I simply do not see a reason to limit such things.

I don't think it would be wise to essentially allow for a variant for all tool promos (Edit: From both a game-balance perspective, as noted by ConductorConduit and DaybreakerMC bellow, as well as from the collector's perspective. It is unnecessary to essentially double the custom items available. Better to just wait for the release of new promos/voter gear.)

I am assuming netherite tools will be added to the voter item list as higher up vote bonus tools. Just like we had iron and we moved to diamond, I would think that is how they want to implement it. In other words, I don't think this suggestion should be added

I agree. In addition, diamonds tools/weapons/armour with the final enchantment were balanced around being diamond items. While netherite doesn't drastically change each piece of tool/weapon/armour, it could create an unbalance if they're upgradable. Best to keep items the way they are and move on with a new set/style of promos in netherite

Why'd you want to get rid of an opportunity for more voter's items, anyway?
