Bah....all you guys finally deciding to do stuff after i return to town..... Guess i am gonna trek back out.
Of my map, or Penfoldex's area? I'm not going to touch anything significant without proper approval regardless. In other words, I might remove and/or replant a half burned down tree, or remove a lonely floating piece of cobble, or fill an "Enderman hole", but I wouldn't alter anyone's structures etc. I haven't been paying attention to the forums btw. Is there a process to remove a locked chest left behind by people long gone? I don't have a specific chest in mind, but I know there are a few left floating around the outpost.
We briefly discussed this before, but I don't think we came to any firm consensus on what to do about them. Personally, I think the locked chests of banned players should be fair game, but all other chests should be left alone. Unlocking a locked chest would require help from a mod, obviously.
Time to list why i've been away! I tried to reboot an old wild outpost of mine. That failed. I've been busy with mba, Jake Bagby and "spam dude" to make our own server. I've been sorting out drama with spam dude. I've got into an argument with somebody here on EMC... Not naming him >.> I tried to start my own wild outpost with mba and Jakres... Haven't any updates on that for a week >.> I joined Sunstreak Islands and have been spending some time there But now, after long last, I am returning to the LLO! But I don't have much...anybody know if my house still stands? Oh, and has anybody torn down Pig Island? If not, then this is permission to! It's useless and just made a mess of things with the nether portals and stuff... It was griefed sometime in January and all of the pigs escaped, and I never got around to eggifying some more >.> EDIT: I should list why I don't have much... Well, back when doing some things for mba for the LLOlympics, I fell off the top of the stadium and died. I was wise to accidently forget my armour and most of my tools, but that was all I really had left. Then I logged off for the night, and was hoping somebody would have picked up the items or something... that never happened and they despawned. Then, following some L0tad drama and stuff and stuffs, I forgot that I ever needed to get some new stuff from town. The time came for the LLOlympics, and I had picked up some new diamond armour a few days before (1st January, actually ) and never used it. I just decided to roll with that, and then I dissapeared for some time, came back and then I dissapeared again.
Mmm, having trouble getting iron..anyone have a tree farm I can use? Edit: every time I go on, there seems to be no one at LLO, I feel really lonely..
It was recommended to me to join LLO, but is it still active? Seems like whenever I look into an outpost, it's gone dormant.
You might convince a mod to let you move them all to a central "lost and found" building and re-lock them.
Thats a really good idea. Or maybe just put the items in some donations chests. I am going to expand the community centre soon. I'll probably do some work on main street again if I get time...
Just start a Conversation with me dealing with Locked chest from banned players, location of locked chest and and we can go from there from the Conversation. I want Shavingfoam to be head of this.
I don't know, I can just imagine someone logging in after 6 months and being like, "Where'd my chest of diamonds go??" Ok, how about this: If anyone finds any chests they would like to see removed, whether it's from a banned player or not, PM me the player's name and the coordinates of the chest. That way, we will have a list of chests ready for when we make a final decision.
A lot of people say that... but there isn't a nether path now... I wonder if the rail in the over world is still there...
