A self-fulfilling prophecy is a prediction that directly or indirectly causes itself to become true, by the very terms of the prophecy itself, due to positive feedback between belief and behavior. Example: A man says that a bank is going to go bankrupt, so you should take out all of your money before it does. Everybody takes out their money from the bank, and the bank goes bankrupt because it had no money. Bandwagon: a particular activity or cause that has suddenly become fashionable or popular. Example: Everybody thinks the Steelers are going to win so I also think the Steelers are going to win.
