Mob spawners and how to pick them up?

  1. I found a few mob spawners out in the waste and was wondering if there were any way to pick them up? I tried using a Silk Touch pickaxe, but that didn't work.

  3. If you want to use a mob spawner here, you have to build around it.

  5. Tip: if you're going to use the mob spawner for something then you may want to consider locking it. Just place a sign on top of it which says 'locked' (no quotes) on the top line. This will make sure that no one except you can remove / destroy the spawner. It'll cost you 1,000r but once you remove the lock sign you'll get 500r back.

    Maybe something to consider? :)
