I was going to add some of these to the 1980's thread but it has been inactive for over a year. I came of age during that decade and really enjoyed hard rocking music. I still listen to it today when I want to get fired up for something. Here are some of my favorites in no particular order: The Cult - Wildflower: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_FxxRTiiKEMetallica - Seek and Destroy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVM8DUhdLyoOzzy Osbourne- Bark at the Moon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F89-MOy7XfgAC/DC- TNT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR30knJs4XkSammy Hagar- I Can't Drive 55 (If you're too young to remember the National Maximum Speed Law consider yourself fortunate): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10X3zJpMDMo So what songs do you listen to when you're looking for some added intensity?
Pump up songs eh? Just about every Epic Rap Battle of History. May be a little....vulgar but it makes me feel hype
While I did not grow up in the age when (imo) music was the best (pre-1990s pretty much...).Added Intensity/Motivation when gaming:Here I Go Again - WhitesnakeDanger Zone - Kenny LogginsTakin Care of Business - BTOHave a Nice Day - Bon JoviOld Time Rock and Roll - Bob SegerTake on Me - A-HaIt's my Life - Bon JoviTrololo - Eduard Khil (lol, had to be added... had to!)Whats this?...I have more. I like the songs in your list, I feel like most of the music I listen to (70-80s rock) has that sort of added intensity or motivation in some cases to it. Not saying there isn't that kind of feel in modern music, just feel like most of the songs in my favorites list could be listed here.
Also, Drake, French Montana (only Figure It Out), Hardwell, Kygo, and Alesso along with some other miscellaneous Djs are what I listen to to get motivated.
Trance - 009 Sound System Dreamscape (HD) long editDarude Sandstorm 10 Hours And when I want to kick it old school:The Groveline "Extended" - Heatwave
I like it. How about some old school electro-funk?Newcleus- Jam On It: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Y8O2x3HAg8Midnight Star- Electricity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C3lH-vV_lk
Hmmm When it comes to motivation and such then I most often prefer no music Helps keep me stay focussed, and well, once I am focussed on something I usually don't hear the music anyway. Wouldn't be the first time I turned on some "mood music" (say Pink Floyd) and started working on something and when I eventually finished I end up surprised to learn that the music had already stopped But... Intensifying music eh?M, Above & Beyond remix - Ayumi HamasakiFor whom the bell tolls - MetallicaSuicide Solution - Ozzy Osbourne (where "that" live performance is my absolute favourite)Tamashii no Rufuran - Megumi HayashibaraExpendable youth - SlayerSkeletons of society - SlayerRaining blood - SlayerReplica - OrigaInner universe - OrigaOne man stands - AnthraxSome things which pop up from mind just now Where my overall favourite is probably For whom the bell tolls Oh well...
When I need energy I go to my drum'n'bass playlist on my Google Play account. Here are some youtube videos of what I have on there:and it goes on and on.....when I'm ready for a cooldown:Yes yes yes, I freakin LOVE Logistics and Hospitality Records in generalI know none of you are actually going to click and listen to any of these songs but they are so gd beautiful and inspiring to me.
