Which version of magic launcher are you using?

the latest... the only one that actually works with 1.6 ... the one before doesn't work with the new minecraft

Do a rain dance, then bake a cake, bury it in a hole, sing the star wars theme tune, job done.

by the way, i've figured out how to get it to work!

at load up - make sure your environment is what ever version you are using... so set it from the default 'classic' - to version 1.6.2

mod's shouldn't effect default sound...

i know this, i'm not at all a newbie lol but i already know what to do.. if you press F3 and S at the same time, it resets the sound for the game (while in game) and it will work again.

Oh yeah, seems MagicLauncher 1.1.7 is out...Only a little changelog, but there is this mention of "Fixed missing sound"...
