I imagine the use of /shop and /town will take care of it, Because that;s what you want lol, a creeper blowing you up as you go shopping.
I think that it will be like going to the wilderness and the nether. I'm not so sure yet, but we will find out on Valentine's Day. btw, I like your res on smp1.
That wouldn't work. Actually, the rise in prices protects players from the inflation by restoring a natural balance. Many people IRL do not understand that and fight against the rise in prices instead of fighting for the rise in wages. Most of EMC players should actually be happy to get more rupees for collected resources. Only the ones who think getting stuff for free is really cool (should) want low prices. Rise in prices protects the majority of people - all but few who hoard money and/or buy/get free rupees. Cutting off the rise of prices (by not updating the prices in the /shop to be at least the double of the current market price) would just mean declaring the economy as failed and dead. Free rupees would sink in the shop and would be otherwise quite useless. People would exchange stuff directly. Absence of stable economy and usable currency would cripple the development. As seen IRL many times. Remember "real socialism"?
