  10. Hmm, somehow when I go to change the avatar it tells me the max size for an avatar is 50kb, but my current avatar is 180kb? Doesn't make sense :confused:

    I was using Chrome when I put in my current 184kb avatar; still using Chrome and it's showing too big.

  13. First of all: Thanks Math! awesome stuff!

    Try this here: http://www.irfanview.com

    For example: my ShellFox pic. up there made by Math is PNG, and sits at approx. 117kb (too large). I load it using IrfanView, save it as JPG and now its .... approx. 20kb. Easy :)

    Edit: that can be an issue if you need transparency... hmm.

    Edit: this is approx. 20kb, will easily fit. Only black background because of the jpg format.

  15. This worked, although unfortunately my avatar had a transparent background. However, I think I can just take a color sample from the background of the forum and set that as the background.

    I forgot that JPEG is able to be much more compressed, I was able to compress it with Photoshop with no noticeable quality loss. Thanks!
