    About:

    >> I mainly created this resource pack collection to improve texture consistency and the overall experience to "Minecraft". I try to make most of what I change familiar to Default MC and not too hard for people to adjust.

    I recommend any of these pack for anybody to try out.

    The main pack, FM Tweaks, contains transparent GUIs and other changes shown below.
    MinerFM is a variation with changes geared more towards exploration/adventuring.

    Blue = FM Tweaks only
    Brown = MinerFM only
    White = Both

    GUIs
    =====

    *All GUIs have transparency, covering a lot less screen space.
    - The color in pack names indicate base color to the interfaces (Ex: FM Tweaks White).

    Blocks and Items:
    =============

    Wool and Shulker Boxes
    * Use the MC 1.12 color scheme.
    * Shulker Boxes have desaturated, pastel-like, colors.

    Water and Ice
    * Colors match the Overworld's sky.

    Netherrack and Nether Quartz Ore
    * Overhauled textures.
    - Less noisy and blend better with magma blocks.
    - Quartz ore is more visible.

    Fire
    * Tinted orange-yellow.

    Stone Blocks
    * Smoothed andesite, granite, and diorite.
    * Textures are slightly darker.
    - Ores are more visible.

    Sticky Piston
    * All faces differ from normal pistons.

    Redstone Repeater & Comparator
    *Darker stone base.
    * Less saturated.

    Furnace
    * Has red heat shading while active.
    * Darker.

    Crops
    * Less saturated.
    * Fully grown wheat is more yellow.

    Iron and Golden Items
    * Different color scheme and shading for many items.

    Wooden Sword and Tools
    * Blades and tool heads are brighter.

    Boats, Minecarts, Brewing Stand, etc.
    * Item sprites replaced with 3-D icons.

    Bottles (Potions, etc.)
    * Removed / hided glass streaks.
    -

    Mobs and Entities
    ==============

    Sweep Attack
    * Smaller.

    End Sky
    * A lot smoother.

    Rain and Snow
    * Less obstructive.
    * Rain matches the new water and ice colors.

    Creeper
    * Lowered texture noise.

    Ghast
    * Sounds echo.

    Villager
    * More quiet.

    Other
    =====

    Models
    * All held block and items take up less screen space in the Player's first-person view.
    * Items/Blocks in the left hand are symmetrical to the mob/player's right hand.

    Optifine-Required:
    ==============
    * Fog in the Nether is brighter and less saturated.

    * Lightly changed Shading/Light Mapping:
    - White -- to yellow -- to orange for light-emitting blocks.
    - Red tint in The Nether.
    - Purple/Blue in The End.

    These Minecraft Resource Packs were inspired by:

  3. I made these packs for the lack of a 32x Transparent GUI. So, I built 32x UI textures off of Meri's 16x ones.

    I'll make a list of other textures I changed in the OP.

  4. I do love the sticky piston side, that's a really nice change. I do personally think that that would really help with redstone :)

  6. A new variation pack is available: MinerFM.

    This resource pack makes much more significant changes than Forever's Tweaks. I intend for MinerFM to be used not for previewing a decorative build, but for exploration and while gathering resources. Some of the textures could be considered as toning down Vanilla MC, so it's not as much of an eye-sorer over long playing sessions.

    Like the other packs, MinerFM is expected to receive relatively frequent updates.

    EDIT:

    There was a bug with clock textures. A patch was made to the resource packs.

  7. BUMP

    Lots of very big changes to the original post and the pack themselves have been made.

    I'll try to leave the packs as they are now for a while.;)
