  1. How about this?^^
  2. If you want get a 128GB SSD for the OS and your most commonly used programs to boot them in seconds.

  3. Would this significantly improve the boot time? compared to a regular hard drive?
  4. Yes! Sometimes it will be 10x faster.
  5. What's a "custon" gaming PC?
  6. Give me 5 minutes or so and I'll put it into a pcpartpicker link to make it easier for all of us :)

  7. For the money you spend on that H55, you can get a better air cooler.

  8. Here is the pcpartpicker link: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/HxLsFT

    I changed some things:
    - a different power supply, it should have better warranty and a a bit quieter
    - different memory, only because the colours didn't match and now they do
    - different cpu cooler, this one will be MUCH quieter than the other one
    - changed the hard drive to a 2 TB one, as it was only 10 pounds more expensive
    - added a 128 GB SSD for dem bootspeeds and more :p

  13. You should get a Corsair 230T case, excellent cable management and drive mounting system. I've got one myself :p

EDIT - Nevermind, I just read you're using an H100i. In that case (see what I did there), you should get a Fractal Define R4.
  14. Also, you should check out some ASUS boards, they've got some high quality stuff.

You should get some case fans as well, I'd say 2x Corsair SP120 for the front and 2x Corsair AF120 for the top and side. You'll want 2 more SP120 fans for the H100i as well. Although the 2 SP120 fans for the H100i are for sure, the others still depend on which case you end up getting.

  15. Would you recommend the fractal define R4 then? Over the NZXT 200r mod tower?
  16. No that's not needed at all. I'd say, you should have 3 case fans + 2 radiator fans. That's more than enough.
And, the Corsair fans are really loud, and don't really push a lot of air. You should just buy some Cougar fans, or something like that.

  17. I would suggest staying with the NZXT S340, since the R4 is 23 pounds more, and has a lot less airflow in the front. It may look a bit better, and the quality will be a bit higher, but it's not really needed, as the S340 is already a great case.

  18. My Corsair fans aren't loud at all. Well, out of the box they sound like jet engines, but I just changed the fan profile to silent and I can't hear them unless I put my head against the case. Temperatures weren't really affected.

  19. If I had some money left over would you suggest a temperature control maybe? I know a fair few sites that sell them cheapish but good quaity. Just an idea?
