Couldn't agree more. I live in a military town with a large christian majority. Everyone I know just believes one thing that is set in stone and cannot be changed. The government is just all around pathetic. I support democratic ideology but personally find that both parties are messing up. Personally my favorite 2012 candidate was Ron Paul and I would prefer him over any other political candidate. Nothing is wrong with having one single party, just listening to a party blindly.
I tip my fedora in your general direction, my good sir. But really, sure, it's sometimes funny to poke fun at those things, which reddit is stereotypically known for, but it's rarely ever true.
