the fort3/ubr3/eff4 i believe I was like 35 plain fort3 was also around 35 I just got Silk touch last night at 37. I personally recommend stopping at 40... the last 10 levels take so much longer for little gain. On enchant you get a random bonus to levels, or a random DECREASE in levels... so your odds of getting a 50 level enchant are about the same id say, as at 50 you have equal chance to LOSE 12 levels, and gaining 12 levels at 50 doesnt gain you really anything since most enchants cap at 50. and yes, enchanted pickaxes are completely awesome. you can very easily get 15 diamonds from 1 vein with Fort 3... Or get 200r for a Diamond Ore with Silk Touch, then buy 4 diamonds. Then the benefit of Effeciency, saving so much time, it completey DESTROYS netherrack and dirt... clearing rooms in seconds. you can run and mine faster than you can run, never hitting the wall. Then add on Ubr3.... making the pick last 4 times longer.
