1.2 update....

Well if we've learned anything today, that is that everyone will have a say when the time comes. In the meantime, lets just carry on. We should all be glad we have an owner who is not just going to do whatever is easiest or best for him.

I really hope they dont reset or regen the wild, I agree if people dont like the cosmetics go deeper or fix it, dont complain, But if it is necessary to regen the wild i'm alright with that, I do own a HUGE base in the wild, its about 5 times the size of a utopia lot and about 20 times the size of a normal lot, I get no trouble from greifers and its peaceful and profitable, I have a combined over 13,ooo rails placed in my long elaborate rail system, as well as a 34x34 4-thick castle (the inside is 30x30) - tons of chests all full, and every kind of everything imaginable. I think that if someone who only goes 100 into the wild, doesnt like the way it looks then complains to have it reset should get a punch in the face, for A.) being to lazy to fix the problem B.) being a complainer C.) Not having the intelligence to go where people havent been. D.) They really need to get off their high horse and see what some of us have done!

To be fair, we're not exactly announcing our presence either.

Totally reasonable, all of it, except no offense, but town is often boring, flat, and ugly. I can only take one of those at a time. :-D

I can't find shaunwhite1982's original message so I'm quoting this yours bitfed but my view on building in the wilderness is that it provides much more accessibility to resources and treasures, which makes it much more appealing to build in then the town, where resources cannot be gathered. Also, building in the wilderness makes the wilderness much more appealing because you have a thrill seeking treasures and exploring peoples' creations! However I am not promoting those horrible dirt and cobblestone towers all over the place, I'm only promoting the well thought-out structures with function. I am not promoting griefing either, only of those despicable towers!

Liasen, I've been with EMC for a pretty long time now, and they will reset the wilderniss, this is because getting the maps from older versions, working with updated versions is a pain in the ass (as justin calls it).

So, YES, the wilderniss will be reset, and YES we will get Jungle biomes

Town = Only Protected area of the Empire where you can get yourself a plot and build safely

Wilderness = Not Safe to build here, griefing not allowed but cant be undone, screenshots will get the offenders banned... How do you plan to SS Justin when he resets the map?

Either way, you call the OP a selfish guy for asking if jungle will be here or not and posting his opinion on wanting it...

You think town is boring? ugly? make some great houses, help your fellow neighbors, run spleef arenas, casinos, auctions... hell even an archery range or pet zoo idk...

I said no such thing, you need to read more carefully.

This thread was almost nothing but proposed solutions for a couple pages.

Let Justin tell people how to play the game... and if you still have to interject, can you read the whole thread before you make judgements please? It's extremely unhelpful.
