Ah, I see. And in that case, you'd rather keep using Windows 7 for the time being, which is unadvisable if it is not receiving security updates anymore (unless you disconnect from the internet, but, well... I bet few people would want to do that, unless they use their pc for a few specific tasks only).
Heh, that seems entirely different from what Tom and I said! In that case, you should be glad of a switch; as you will _still_ have a lot of fond memories and good experiences with Windows 7, and you'll _also_ gain fond memories and good experiences with Windows 10.
I think (!) that you (607) misunderstood the meaning of his message: I think that he meant that Windows 7 works well and Windows 10 doesn't - at least that is my opinion regarding this. :P
Tom is correct. Though to be honest, I'm pretty much "forced" to use Windows 10, as Windows 7 has horrible HiDPI support. It comes from a time before 4k screens exist, so I'm basically forced to use Windows 10... :\ If it wasn't for that, and Windows 7 dying, I'd use it.
To be honest scaling is also shit in Windows 10, I can say from my own experience. :P I'm really happy my laptop's screen is 1080p instead of 2160p, so I don't need to use scaling. :D
Huh, interesting. My experience with Windows 10 is nearly always perfect. I wonder if your issue was just a hardware issue? (Or version of Windows 10? haha, we can make those jokes now lol)
I'm scaling our 1080p TV to like 200 or 400%, because otherwise I can't read a single thing when sitting on the couch. The problem is that it makes some things really blurry. It's definitely usable, but does not look professional at all.
