Meaning that Aya & me will *definitely* be colored again during the upcoming Holiday season. Aya likes dia but I'm not sure yet if I'll go blue or yellow :) I think gold because I've been gold for so many times already.....

Oh, PayPal should be left alone now anyways, so good job on getting away from them. :P

Frauds.. seriously, that's what I think of them. I'm just glad I got my money back...

Why? I use Paypal a lot, as I've always known it as secure and reliable.

This video explains why I recommend no one using it: https://youtu.be/YPXhzgC2ODs in short, PayPal charges a 30 cent flat fee for every transaction, and takes 2.9% of each transaction. It used to be that these 2.9% would be refunded if a customer asked for a refund, but starting soon (or earlier this year), they'd start to keep these 2.9%.

This'd mean that if you bought a $1000 thing and then asked for a refund, the seller would be out of $29 (and 0.30) for no good reason.
In addition to this, there are other issues like people being locked out of their account for no good reason too.

I "should" add, that video might contain some strong language.

I don't get that. I was under the impression that if you use credit card instead of PayPal, you can't ask for a refund at all.

I'm fairly sure that you can always ask for a refund - a refund is just sending a transaction the other way.

Most credit cards also have refund options, and some even provide extra insurance on payments. As to paypal: they blocked my account without any warning because I wasn't using my real name. So when I did sent them a copy of my ID they refused to unlock it because the name on my ID didn't match with my paypal name....

Of course adding cash has never been a problem, but using my own cash? Noo... If they feel like it they can block you and you're helpless. "Please contact support by phone" (which I did): "No, it's better to sent support an email", stuff like that.

It took me 3 weeks before they finally provided me with an option to request my cash be transferred to a bank account. A few days after I hinted at looking into legal support. Odd how quickly things get solved when you mention a lawyer. Sounds really solid and trustworthy to me (not). Paypal is nice as long as it works, but if it doesn't.... well, never again for me.
