The CCP has done terrible things. But they have also done very good things. It's a game of numbers.
You cannot be sentimental. There is only logic, there is only utility, there is only numbers and the ultimate goal; to preserve the greater good. If Genocide is what it takes to preserve that good, I would do so.
Imprisoning 3,000,000 people doesn't count as genocide unless one is wholesale murdering them. In any case, wholesale murder is very difficult to hide especially in the modern time.
Now, the fact that they are destroying the culture is frankly evil. Their Police state is frankly at best questionable, if not downright evil.
They want to be omnipresent and see everything.
Now, that is not necessarily a bad thing, and I do not question the intent of the top. However, the extensive corruption of the middle and lower levels mean that this power will be abused now, and when the top is inevitably corrupted (common trope in Chinese history) it will be misused even more.
The CCP can't last. It won't because it's always what happens. The CCP is good at operational things, but they are very incompetent at tactical and strategic planning. They have messed up time and again with long-term planning, ended the one-child policy far too late (has destroyed any hope of long-term Chinese rule of the world)
, refuses to abandon real estate development as the primary driver of economic growth (unsustainable), and most importantly cannot fulfill the expectations of the Chinese people (When a government cannot fulfill their expectations, the Chinese people tend to riot and destroy the Government. Deng barely saved the CCP back then, but it probably won't repeat itself.).
None of the CCP's growth and doings are sustainable. It's done great things, but it hasn't thought enough about the future. It has recklessly done evil deeds to maintain ideological unity and instead of using propaganda (the CCP is incredibly bad at this, as in no Chinese with half a brain believes what they say.) right, it has used the much more blunt and frankly less effective tool of censorship.
In a nutshell: the CCP has done great things for China and made it strong again. However, it has also left a trail of destruction in its wake and nothing it does is sustainable in the 50 years+ long term.
It is doomed.
1. wow, warlord.
2. genocide of pillagers? Be my guest. genocide of zombies? I'd give you everything I have in minecraft if you fix this.... (My status so defends this)
The CCP is too secular. It's one of their many flaws.
The problem with China is the fact that there are no viable alternatives to the CCP. No matter what they do, even if they killed 3,000,000 Uyghurs. Let me tell you one thing: no mattee how bad the CCP is, what ryey ae desperatrly trying to control is worse.
No other organziation has the infrastructure, means of control, and ability to control Chinese Nationalism.
China has been kicked around by World Powers for 100 years (1850-1950). They're still bitter about that. They want revenge.
This Nationalism demands the CCP act dominantly against the West, and the CCP has to oblige whether it likes it or not.
They want to make Korea subservient. They want to take revenge for Nanjing. They want to rule the World. They arrogantly believe that China is the best nation ever, and that they are at the center of the World (metaphorically). Zhonggou means "Middle Nation". They believe that.
I don't believe for a moment that these people are going to play nice. I believe they're going to be no better than the United States.
They're going to ruin World Peace because of their arrogance and hate.
And then what?
They're gonna find themselves at the exact same place US was, so long ago. Just as they once felled the Anglosphere, the Sinosphere will come down. Just as they once were strong, and US weak, their challenger (INDIA) is now strong, and they weak.
And China is not going down quietly, not if the Nationalists have anything to say about it.
