lol, meh, Brexit isn't "Europe", it's just 4 countries and some stupid leaders. :D Article 13 (is still just just Europe) I'm not so sure about, hopefully that'll improve.
Also... remember when North America was a badass continent? Nobody remembers. :D
And Canada is like a somewhat better, but still flawed, version of the USA. :P
Brexit isn't Europe. Brexit is the UK trying to leave Europe.
Having actually read the legal text of Article 13 (now Article 17), it really isn't that bad. I don't like it, but it's not going to 'destroy the internet' or 'abolish fair use' like the mob frenzy surrounding it believes. On top of that it's also open to interpretation from member nations.
P.S North America is fading into irrelevancy, while Europe and Asia are emerging to take its place. I'd still go with the view that its a badass continent lol
The only badass country is Israel. Imagine being the most hated country in the middle east, as well as one of the smallest with sticky fighting at your borders while still being a massive economic contender and still existing as all your neighbours hate you.
Europe was a main contender to the expulsion and eradication of Native Americans in America and the slave trade, but Europe is still a badass continent
Western Europe's past actions in a world very different to ours does not excuse the jumped up ethnostate in the Middle East's actions in the world we inhabit.
Maybe if the French and the British weren't so hungry for land in the middle east, we wouldn't have borders which split apart entire ethnic groups and group up those who dont want to be grouped up. I'm not saying the middle east would have been perfect if Europe didnt crap all over the middle east, but possibly, it could have been a little bit better than what it is today
I don't disagree. In fact the UK still continues to screw over the ME in the interest of money and greed, so until it stops doing that it is unforgiven and can rot for all I care.
I don't believe any country has been great, except for those small ones or the pacific islanders, literally every empire and kingdom has a crooked past, some more than most in recent years.
Nope, as it's so insignificant and far from the rest of the world that it cannot really do anything wrong. :D (kinda true, but obviously not meant in this tone. :P)
So peaceful that no one cares eh? I agree, they contributed nothing to WW1 and they are just so forgotten that they have just become an economic wasteland!
