Did you like it? I love that movie, or anything that Hayao Miyazaki made for the matter!

Yes, as I said, it's great. :) There was too much action for me in the first part of the movie, though. Very little rest before the next intense part.

Also, something that really annoyed me is that the girl leading the activity for some reason stopped the movie while the ending song had just begun... so really, I haven't seen the end of the movie!
What made it worse is that she did take the time beforehand to tell us information about the film that we could have also seen in the movie itself or found on Wikipedia...

That's why I always keep it running until the file actually ends. For some reason the credits/aftiteling are often quite nice to still see and listen to. :) For "Les Choristes" (2003) I really needed that time to resist tears and get the "block out of my throat", as that ending hit me really hard for some reason... Good movie, by the way, it's even on YouTube! :)

Right! Even the credits. But she stopped it before the credits had even started rolling!
We also watched Les Choristes, and I do recall it being good, but it wasn't too memorable for me. Much unlike Good Bye Lenin, which is now one of my favourite movies and especially movie soundtracks; I'd really like to watch it again.

Oh, wow, why would you do that... >.<
At what age did you watch it? I watched it in "de tweede" (or eerste or derde, ik weet het eigenlijk niet meer zeker :P) and didn't think it was that special (I don't think we even properly finished the movie then... :P), and watched it again recently because my sister had to see it for school (she's 4 years younger than me), and liked it much more then.

The same for Intouchables, I watched that in de eerste I believe, thought it was funny, and watched it again last year, and thought it was great. I understood much more and noticed much more things that a much younger me didn't at all register. :P

Yup, same. Ah, okay. I didn't see Intouchables.
Did you watch any movies in German class?
Besides Good Bye Lenin! we saw Das Leben der Anderen, but I didn't actually like that.

I saw Das Leben der Anderen, and completely forgot what it was about. :D We also saw Good Bye Lenin, that was nice too. We've seen many more movies, but apart from Lola rennt (which I liked too :P), I don't remember the titles for any of them. :P

You should, if you'd like, rewatch Les Choristes. I did too and could appreciate it much more now that I understand more in general. :P Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjOX145zEkI
I also really liked Intouchables, could give that a try too, if you'd like. :) (it also gave me a massive "block in my throat" at the end :P)

I don't want blocks in my throat. :P
I might, Y0sh. :) If I have a good person to watch it with. I wouldn't watch another film in this setting, except if I have already seen the film and know I can handle it.

Nice! I don't think I'll watch it again, but its soundtrack is now one of my favourites.
