I just googled to find out what that even is. Seems so utterly pointless. Good luck! :)

Yep, can confirm Punisher was indeed born :p
Why would they even need it? As far as I read it doesn't include more information at all, just looks nicer.

Honestly have no idea. It just has my parent's signature, whereas the short form doesn't. My passport wouldn't even have that signature, yet the passport is fine?

    Big companies are stupid.

That last thing you said is something we already knew ages ago. ;)

    Woah, that's stupid.
It's stupid that it's necessary, and it's stupid that if it is they don't ask right away, as it doesn't seem like something everyone obviously should have, like an ID-card or passport (depending on the country).

Why are there different forms of birth certificate? I just have one that has the same information as your long form one.

I've honestly got no clue. My sister, born in 2004, and brother, born in 2011, both have long form but me and other brother (2000 and 2002) only have short form. I suspect some kind of law change, maybe? It's stupid either way, especially now that I have to pay for the long form lmao

Found out why they want the long form one.

They think I'm an immigrant because of my second name lol

    >.< now I'm curious what your second name is, and what makes it so immigrant like. :P

Isn't 'second name' British for surname? I think the actual second name is (strangely) called 'Christian name', in British English.

Never mind, 'Christian name' is someone's first name. Then how do you call a second name? :P

Second name is indeed surname here. Second names are called middle names, most people don't have one though. Also never heard Christian name before. Weird.

I suppose 'Christian name' is from the time when most people were still Christian in the UK... most books I read are from that time. :P

Now that I know what it means, I suppose your second name is indeed not English-sounding.

Nope, it's really not. The only people you could tell aren't 100% British, or even English, in my year at school were me and my friend. My friend comes from India, so... yeah :P
