I agree with haas. The serial "EMC drama" that was infamously going on in December and April seems to be persistent, just dormant sometimes. Too bad they're not willing to stop and the staff aren't doing much about it... :(

I'm still hoping for as little staff interference as possible. But it might be a necessary evil... :/

I initially hoped for that too, but I think intervention is exactly what we need at this point.

I just finished reading the thread, you didn't miss much. Apart from the fact that almost nothing useful was said, that thread was doomed from start, not necessarily because of the subject, but because of the way many people replied to it. Curious if a reopen would do it any good, or if just a new thread would be better to attempt.

Probably the latter. Even then, it seems like it'll probably just go bad again. The bigotry and dramatization some people have is terrible. :(

Besides, remember what happened to my LGBT rights thread in April, and what happened to most of the threads finch made (sometimes when it's not even about that stuff, i.e. her leaving thread)?

I don't really remember, as I believe I didn't bother to read that thread, as I was busy and generally don't care about such threads. I do recall them being closed, though. :P
