I agree, as a citizen of Wrem I really don't think new rail lines are needed. Perhaps some centralisation of rail lines would be nice, but a new "high speed" line would only add to the problem. I personally like SHSRSs.
I wish we could bring back Wrem into it's golden age, the time when you could do /c who at anytime and there would be 8 people around, the time when finishing a building was the best feeling in the world, the time when it was actually fun and exciting to be there. I am going to publish a report soon on what has happened to Wrem and what we can do to fix it. This is a very interesting case to me, and I am going to do my best to learn more about it.
Considering minecarts only have one speed, I'm not quite seeing the logic behind essentially mirroring the current system And like jk said, do you even have permission to be doing this?
Kitten and me were discussing rails the other day, two proposals for a link to the ICE were put forward: Oakville and Creeper Lane. I had been building a new station at Creeper Lane before I left, so eventually we agreed this site would be the best. I see no harm in a few more lines being made, the new ICE will allow a line between Wrem and Neorepopolis which also links Wrems lesser known second city, Stafford. We already have a lot of overhead rail lines in Wrem, and I'm sure people wouldn't like to see too many new ones being made. I guess we could build inner city sections of the line underground or something
Yes, inner-city sections will be made underground. Also, if you want a subway up in Wrem I can make one
ok lets clear this up .... Creeper lane is Wremian territory and i have not given any permission to alter it in anyway to kitten or anybody as i have been busy the last week or so, however building new rail links is a good idea as development is key to survival. On that note, i would like to praise whoever said a couple of days ago on this thread that we should not expand outwards to grow, but to focus on developing the dense city we already have .... therefore in the future i would promote that the residents of wrem and those who have property in central wrem, develop their existing properties before they build another ... i will consult with the city council members to seek advice and proposals and report back when i have come to a decision. Oh and another thing, i can report that Dean, my fellow creator of wrem has returned and i have reinstated him as my Vice-President, as me and him can effectively run this city !! President HH
Subway is well underway according to Paul! Creeper Lane was under development when I left, all this is pretty much just getting the job done
Wrems new subway system is well underway. A line is close to being operational beneath Creeper Lane and a line is now functioning that links Creeper Lane Station with the International Station to the west of the city, and therefore to all the destinations you can reach from there (including Stoneguard, Volt, Estona, Neorepolis, Oceania and more!). We will be talking with players about what to rename the International station as it is no longer the main station in Wrem, hopefully this can be done within the next week or so! Creeper Lane Station itself is currently going through major renovations and will serve as a terminal for subway rails and overhead rails (including a new line straight to Neorepolis) and plans are nearly done to create a more direct link to Wrem's second city, Stafford, through the Red Square station. Exciting times
An upgrade from Wrem to Volt City would be nice. We presently have one line to SG and one to VC until the split of the 2. If that makes any sence.
Greetings fellow minecrafters !! As President of the Wrem, i have just passed a new initiative to rejuvenate and revive the city, in co-operation with a few veteran players. The new subway and monorail system is about 80% complete. This Programme will see parts of the city, demolished and redeveloped as we are now striving to get rid of the old corporate and capitalistic city scene, and hopefully introduce a new style of building and i will consult the council about relaxing the strict building laws. I know i have lectured before about issues like this, but i can report we have already started with the demolition of 1 of 3 towers, and we will continue with this programme with the same speed and enthusiasm. I will keep everyone updated, its exciting times for Wrem !! President HH

I am here these days as a spectator from what I like to call "a small rock". So, the P11 and H11 are going? The two were quite nice buildings, but urban development, after all, is much more important.
I have decided to step down as president of Blackwood and give all assets and land rights to HollyHill105, after a year of it being a dormant ghost town with the occasional tourist wandering through and stealing my rails I belive HollyHill105 will be just what Blackwood needs to become more than an outpost and to have it thrive and prosper like wrem and the NR once did. God speed Holly and bring Blackwood back to glory
First of all i would like to thank Actanonverba for the amazing work he has already done, and from Leader to leader, i wish to thank you once more. Blackwood has always caught my eye, its in a prime location, the architecture is amazing and the feeling is relaxed. I pledge right now to adhere to the amazing theme of the city, and revive the beautiful settlement and incorporate it fully into our great nation. We are no longer a city state, which i am pleased immensely with, thank you again for your trust Actanon, we will not fail this city !! President HH
