  8. If you want to keep on playing on the Empire server, don't update.
    If you want to be on the new version but sacrificing not being able to play on the Empire server. Update.

    If you want both. Downl0ad Spoutcraft and update that to the latest version whilst keeping your original Minecraft client on version 1.8

  12. Wonderful! I was correct about the Minecraft Wiki holding the answer to actual release date. I am excited. I can not wait for the world reset. :) I am currently going bonkers with a huge nursery for trees in my lot. Once I have cleared them out, my work on my wood project will begin. I have a general idea of my intention, but as of yet I do not have a fully solid plan. I am doing some research into floor plans and as well as a side project, I am working on a proposal in regards to the current chat system. More to follow in the supporter section of the forums once I have hashed out all of the ideas and developed a baseline of what I want to convey to the community...

  20. Ok what you have done is gone and updated minecraft without reading this thread. What you should have done is clicked "not now" and wait untill one of the Admins, or moderators give the allclear to update.

    This is because the server is running on something called Bukkit, and the coders for bukkit have to update their software to work with the latest minecraft update. This will take a few days because after all this is minecraft 1.0. Please follow what Justin has said in this thread previously:The only thing I ask you to do next time is to always follow what is happening with regards to the servers here on the forums, it is the best place to be kept up-to-date.
