  1. I thought when I had to move I used the arrow keys and I raged so hard because after 1 hour I figured out it was WASD to move.
  2. Been there done that.

  5. Lets see.

    1. Freind got me to play this and I built a gaint ugly dirt house with like 3 floors and thought it was nice
    2. Dug straight up and had gravel fall on me
    3. Keep getting killed in my own traps I set up
  6. I made a cool lava fireplace in my house to "WaterFall lodge" it was under a water fall :/ Anyways the lava came out and started to spread. I dumped water to try to combat the lava. I dug the roof out letting the waterfall flow in.... I managed to get rid of all the lava............ and left obsidian. It took me awhile to rebuild my house cause it was made of wood. Then I had to deal with obsidian in my house until a whole month later when I got a diamond pickaxe :p

  7. At a mob spawner, the top part to hold the mobs in I broke it. (Was trying to get the ceiling to be higher) It was a swarm of skeletons in about a 30 block space.
  8. -Used to be extremely scared of the night during a Peaceful mode in Sp
-Would wait out the night in peaceful indoor my little dirt hut.
-Frusturated with 45 minutes trying to pick up water with a Wooden Bowl. I eventually semi-rage quitted and began looking for multiplayer servers. Which in a few hours I managed to find Empire Minecraft to deal with my noobinesss :D

  9. Lets see here, I think I'm in the top 10 noob mistakes.
    1. When I first started, I didn't know you could build blocks, only break. So I spent hours trying to make the perfect house, and had about 5 failed attempts.
    2. In my first Singleplayer, I turned Peaceful on thinking it just was easier than Easy. I had no idea to turned off Hostile Mobs. I spent every second underground and when I ran out of wood, I had to run like a madman outside and sprint back underground to "Safety".
    3. I thought Fancy Graphics made everything look sophisticated.

I'll try to think of more later.

  10. I put Minecraft on touchscreen mode, and left it there for months. I moved blocks one-by one, as shift-click was disabled. I thought my friends were trolling me when they told me about the shift key.

On my way up from my first diamond score my brother asked me what the orange liquid next to me was:
    "Lava"
    "What does it do?"
I jumped in to show him it burns you................................................ I couldn't get out...................................................................

You know that lovely thing called peaceful mode? I spent a loooooong time sitting paralyzed in fear at night waiting for mobs that would never spawn reason.

I got really frustrated that I couldn't mine blocks in creative.

I made a super complicated rail system to and from my original spawn point to my base, including lots of powered rails and a lava door. Then I discovered beds.

  11. Leaving EMC :3

Well, i hid in peaceful mode, thinking i was going to be killed, i've mined staight up, letting some gravel and sand say hello to my face, asked how to make a bed in EMC chat a few months ago, and other things

My most noob-ish mistake was that, when i bought MC, i could never play it because it would ALWAYS crash, and i could never figure out why. Well, it turns out Minecraft, when bought, is set to the BEST graphics possible, and my PC is a very low-end computer, and once i toned down the graphics and what not, i could play :p

  12. I wouldn't really consider that a noob mistake, but more of a computer mistake. :p
  13. When I first started playing, I used to try breaking blocks by clicking the left mouse button rapidly. I thought the game broke...

When I first found diamond, I dug down to receive more, which ended at a pit of lava.

  14. Dang there are a lot of us who have derped when it comes to playing Peaceful the first time.

I also burned my first EMC house with a fireplace. Brit set our LLO house on fire.

  15. Oof, yes. I burned down my first EMC house too. Half of it was gone, so I actually made a red stone mechanic ontop of my house to release water by a lever whenever a fire happens again. Which never got used as that fire convinced me to never light another fireplace again :p

  16. Here I go, Once, I saw a iron golem, I thought he was hostile, i hit him, i had a wooden sword....
    Once... I let rusty live...
and fourth, I jump of a cliff, into blue glass... I wasn't a n00b then... just thought it was water

  17. Probably the dumbest thing I've ever done in MC was back in... 2011, 2012, I can't remember. All I know is that me and a friend were Obsidian mining, when I dug out the block he was standing on half a second after he walked onto said block. I know that some people enjoy lava baths... my friend was not one of those people.

  20. Oh here is another of mine, I went mining without torches, food and the most needed thing, a pickaxe :p
