  2. 5k? That's good. That's not a far run, so if you push out to 30 - 40k, then you're well out of harms way and actually cause less server problems precisely because come the reset you wont have generated a ton of chunks on the way there.

    I guess uv figured out what i would vote for.

    You have to go to the edge of the map ro find ore.(thats a metaphor)

  4. About the Nether: even a newly generated nether world would still generate only to 128 blocks high. This is due to Mojang not updating the nether height. But it still would be good to get at a fresh nether fortress instead of the ruins of a ruins.

  11. Crap, i don't know if you guys know this but in single player the nether is not at the correct hight itself so i believe this may happen in multiplayer

  12. The nether is staying at 128 in the game, the wilderness was lifted to 256.

  20. I had posted before :) Once smp7 is launched and we are comfortable in our ability to reset worlds to 1.2 we will begin the countdown and add the temporary special features :)
