Let's take a moment to look at your idea from the standpoint of a human being, shall we? I own a sever, hypothetically, and you want to bring my embassy to mine. Now then, what would be my course of action? Permaban you, your advertising another server and trying to take people from mine. If someone tried this on EMC, permaban, they're trying to take people from EMC. Please get it into your head that the Minesphere functions absolutely nothing like the real world, and even in the real world, embassies aren't used to get people to come to whatever country their from, and it would likely result in war.

You make a fair point with the whole taking people from the server point, but I can counter that by pointing out that we would of course be sending a constant stream of people to help out with the expedition, and if someone was angry that their server population was being depleted by this better, improved server presence, the population of Empire unionists there would kindly explain that by banning the expeditioners, they'd be proving that that server is unable to compete with a better one and needs to shut off all links with such better servers to succeed. If a better server is taking all your players, then rather than blocking all means they have to take your players, you should compete with them. Ask regulars to ramp up donations, invest the donations in a better play experience, compete with the big players. It's simple Darwinism, really. Survival of the fittest. Without these permabans, competition is created between the server with the embassy in this scenario and EMC, meaning they will each try to get better than each other. Competition is the primary driving force in all real-world economies, and this competition can improve the Minesphere as a whole and benefit everyone who chooses to participate to the best of their ability, invoking an invisible-hand situation in there as well.

MINECRAFT IS NOT LIKE THE REAL WORLD. The sooner you can get that into your system, the better life will be for everybody. Stop it. This idea is probably your worst yet, and that's saying something. Well, we'll just keep ourselves discreet enough to not ruin the reputation of the server. Minecraft may not be like the real world, but it houses many communities, who are not only like the real world, but are the real world. In any environment, open competition is a good thing. Sometimes I have bad ideas, but so does everyone else. Are you telling me you're in such a position where you're able to tell me that this is my worst idea of all?
Only of all your previous ideas. I've seen plenty worse ideas. But this idea is not going to help EMC. You know what I've noticed a lot of people like to do in communities? Tattle. Tattle, tattle, tattle. No matter how discreet you are, at the end of the day, your a spamming advertiser. No server owner is going to see this as an invitation for competition, they'll see it as a threat, and treat it accordingly.

the point volts getting is that we probably wont advertize, we would just be out there as a good example. If asked, then we'd tell them where were from.
