yeh i checked earlier .... almost 60 people online were all supporters ... 23 were non ... and there were 2 mods as well ... if you do the math if over half of the supporters were already online, then the rest were non, and then the rest of the supporters come online ... and then no matter how many people dc'd it would still always be full
Thank you everybody that attended! I was honestly hoping to hit server capacity, but had been thinking that may be wishful thinking . When I went to log in an hour till the drop party and couldn't, I was thrilled. I've heard people say we hit around 80/60 players. Thank you everybody for making this so awesome. Noobofepicness and Gremlindan now have full permissions on this res, so if you are looking to host a drop party someday, talk to them about using this res. For those that missed out on this event due to prior engagements, forgetting, or getting locked out due to server capacity, there will be a raffle soon in an effort to make sure everybody at least gets a shot at getting something cool. I know that it is likely because I am more active in the forums, but don't forget, Joelslaw sponsored 50% of this event as well. A lot of people asked me at the drop party and after, how I made so much money as a non supporter. Well, I WAS a supporter for a long time, though that is not where my money came from. Most my rupees came from the LLO slime farm that Joelslaw and I built long ago, way before it was known to the public, and of course before we gave it to LLO. I also had a habbit of building lots of blaze grinders and grinding much more than I probably ever should have. I'm going to put together a video that I shot of the drop party soon, and anybody else that took screenshots or videos, please post them Here are a couple screens for now:
Darn.. I forgot and just remember now. I was like "hmm ill get on before having to go to work and check it out hopefully". I even watched this thread just incase I might forget (still did though). I should have known though that mostly supporters would be on and regular players (like me) wouldn't have a chance unless they got on a lot earlier or something.
Yep that's kinda one of the problems with supporters benefits. They get all these perks and then when something like this comes along "oh look even though I have 100,000 rupees I can join this server to get a chance at even more stuff" type of deal. While regular players who either can't afford to donate or don't want to get punished. But well no use in complaining since well its already over with and all that.
It's not that non-sups are punished it's just SUPPORTING the server has perks. LZ isn't a sup and neither am I. I have just as much stuff as LZ had.
