I just dont see the issue with a monopoly.. It doesnt come from advertising, it comes from good servers and players that likes it here, and tells everyone else about it.

A bandwagon effect is mainly based off a high service level, meaning that people will tell people that will tell people and so on..

So if there is anyone to "blame" it should be the players.

I hate EMC's model because it's economic based and not player based how it should be. I hate it because it's simple and cruel capitalism. I'm not stating that I hate capitalism, but I hate how this is 100% it. EMC is a money machine and that's why it will never improve itself.

Well, a sever like this NEEDS money to stay afloat. Also, I think Justinguy does think of the players. He has said that he thinks the players own EMC, not him or money.

So based on what you're saying about your server, I've gathered that it's no different from most other servers. I, for one, play EMC because it's different from all the other servers out there. I like the way it works. I find that having a 60x60 residence to be creative on is a challenge. It's a challenge to see what kinds of awesome things you can build in a confined space. If I wanted to build something without boundaries I'd just play singleplayer. If you want to make a server with all the things you claim it will have then good for you. Do that instead wasting your time with mundane accusations that EMC isn't all it's cracked up to be which will get you no where.

I prefer a "legit" server. I am not here because I am a "submissive sheep"; I am here because this is the best server I have found. No one told me in advance how great EMC was, I just found it on a server list and joined. I formed my own opinion about the server. No leader or dictator told me I had to like it, I simply decided I liked it.

But EMC is not a business. It is a community. It is a family

Justin never even took back his initial investment to EMC. Donators money goes towards adding additional servers when needed and paying the fees applicabale to EMC. Personal income is not gained through EMC.


Servers are not easy to startup no matter how much experience you have. Don't waste your time advertising here.

And to think, you use to be respected here. I see why you were not chosen for the EMCake Party now.

If you don't like EMC, leave. Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh my god, a place that offers a service wants money in return? Yes, that is a business. Is that wrong? No. You 'found out' it was a business? Way to show off that prize winning Edsel of a brain you've got there. Must have been real difficult to figure out something that was never hidden.

Yes, there is also an economy in game. Even if there was no money system, including the bonus rupees for supporters, players will still establish a system of barter/trade to make things easier on themselves. That is part of modern human nature.

Moving beyond your arguments. So far, this post has not been for any significant, much less pertinent, gain. Oh, I'll come on here and talk about how bad I 'learned' this place was, but I'm doing it to show everyone else what they are too blind or stupid to see. It has nothing with being a spiteful, illiterate prig that is just wanting to whine and complain for a bit more attention.
