(Money involved) Help me find some pictures!

  1. Howdy!

    For some, uh, reasons, I'm looking for the source of these two images:

    October 23, 2017

    (EDIT: Found by jacob5089, Echo and the Bunnymen, Lips Like Sugar)
    January 25, 2018

    I've already reached out to some people and they haven't been able to come up with anything, so I figured I would see if anyone here is able to help. Also, because money helps motivate, I'll be giving 50k to the first person to find each of these two images.

    Here are some things that may help the search:
    • Both of these pictures are screen captures from music videos; I'm looking for the artist/band and the name of the song.
    • Each picture's respective video came out before the date shown below the pictures.
    • Both of the photos appear to be from older songs (based on quality, color, etc.), but this is more of a hunch than anything.

  2. Well, jacob5089 is a madman who managed to find the second photo in minutes. Still looking for the source of the first photo!

  6. I did not! I posted it to reddit on /r/tipofmytongue and a kind poster was able to quickly identify it.

  7. Just going to quickly bump this thread to say that the 50k for the first photo is still available. Also, it is probably safe to assume that the song with the first photo is a British rock band, similar to Echo and the Bunnymen.

  8. You didn't try a reverse image search first?

    Edit: or at least reddit. You can give those guys a grain of sand and they can figure out what beach or came from

  9. Putting the first one in Google results in Eminem - Darkness, but that's not it (Google just finds the image dark :p). It's not surprising that it doesn't work, to be honest, as the stills were probably taken by the maker of the puzzle. ;)
