I stocked up right before the change went into effect. I only carry bows with mending and infinity. I am very careful and don't die. I have had the same bow for like 3 years. You can still find them, and they are expensive...but well worth the investment.
Punch 2, I mean come on, When you get creepers creep'n on a creep I gotta blast em back and that rusty trusty knockback 2 works well for that too but a touch too close for comfort. Why say rusty, that's the only case I like knockback for. Otherwise the mobs fly back and die, leaving their loot usually off a cliff or whatever. If the option was up there I'd say Looting 3 on a bow, No it's not a vanilla enchant but is on the voters bow and can be put on in creative on a SP world. Marlix bow on the other hand with punch 3,?? I think or is it 5?.. Anyway, That's a hoot to hit with too Merek~

I have both infinity and mending on a bow as well, the last of 2 i had. The one I have was a gifted bow (I think it was valentine's?... hilariously enough) and it stays stashed in my backup gear chest. I only use that bow when I know for sure I ain't gonna die. Otherwise, i'm not killing a bajillion skellies, nor blowin my emeralds or rupees. Gimme infinity. (I am of the group that's not sure how infinity and mending was OP but that is its own debate.
