Four years ago I never would have expected that I would find a home in a Minecraft server. Yet here I am, with relationships and experiences I wouldn’t trade for anything. However, life happens and it’s my time to take a step back from EMC. I love this server and hold a lot of respect for it, so I can no longer stay on as EMC staff with my inactivity. I am not as active or involved in the community and server as I should be to retain the positions that I currently have. I still love EMC and everything it has, but I am entering a point in my life where I need to focus on things in real life. Between starting a new job, finishing up school and the projects that come with that and other responsibilities, I don’t have the time or energy to devote to EMC like I used to. Thank you all for being such an amazing community of friends and family to me over the years! This isn’t goodbye, I still plan to be around occasionally and somewhat active in the community I look forward to seeing you all in-game and talking with you all on the forums still. Actually, I don't work there anymore, I have since moved on to a full time job working in an IT department at a very large bank. I actually have more time than I did at Staples, because I have a set schedule (9am-6pm). Yet with school coming to a close soon, I have a few large projects I have to complete for my degree, as well as a final few high level classes I just won't have the time to devote to EMC like I feel I need to, in addition to me not being as active as I should have been over the past few months.

It's so sad to see you go, but I'm glad you're moving on to bigger and better things in the real world. (yay for 9 to 5 jobs!) Good luck finishing the degree and everything else you set your mind to!
