Alright, the results are in! I have compiled a list of all the players who successfully answered every question on the Moon Base Test correctly and have determined the winners for the event! But first, some data for those who are curious. The question on the test that was the most often answered incorrectly: How many bathrooms are in the Bunker? The correct answer to this, is actually 15. While there are 3 bathrooms on the first floor, there are actually 5 floors in the bunker. Thus, a total of 15 bathrooms. A close second was: How many redstone lamps are used to make the Generator? The correct answer for this is 17. A lot of people missed the single redstone lamp that sits on top of the generator, but can only be seen from the ladder, not from the ground. We received a total of 127 submissions for the test. 63 players successfully answered every question correctly (Congratulations!) 34 players answered all but one question correctly (So close guys!) Here is a list of all the questions and their correct answers: How many space suits are in the Equipment Room? - 21 What is the serial number for the freezer in the Kitchen? - 83795549 How many brewing stands have potions brewing in the Laboratory? - 5 How many bathrooms are in the Bunker? - 15 How many computers are on the Research levels? - 10 What color is the Moon Base Director's bed? - Gray What is the secret message hidden in the Unexplored Side of the Moon? - JDHallows was here What is the code found in the Farms? - #Wheat4Lyfe How many redstone lamps are used to make the Generator? - 17 How many TnT are in Storage? - 40 How many anvils are in the Equipment Repair Center? - 3 What is the secret message hidden in the mines? - Eviltoade was here Here is the list of players who successfully answered every question correctly. Thank you all for coming, I have had an amazing time with this event, and I look forward to seeing you all in-game.
This was a really great event I must say. Nicely done and executed... and a relaxing break to take some exploring time! Thanks JD and all who were involved.
I have a question. For events like this do the staff/builders have to mine or buy those blocks to build the set, or are the blocks generated by the staff somehow?
They build the event on a different staff only server /stage I think, but they are all in creative then they just copy and paste the build/event over to one of the smps
Aw, yeah there were quite a few people in that same boat as you, only got one question wrong. Maybe next time around then? Edit: Just wanted to add this in to clarify, in case there was any confusion from anyone: you don't need one of the tickets to get into the next event, they are just a small prize. Everyone will be able to enjoy the next Space event, whenever we release it. For server events, like this one, where staff build it for the community to enjoy, we build majority of it on Stage. Then Senior Staff come copy it, then paste it wherever it needs to go.
"One of these days Alice... POW! Straight to the Moon!" ... ok..ok. May be dating myself a bit here but, no... not quite that old.
I didn't even notice I won until now, I'm sorry Thank you very much again JDHallows for the price and the great event. I had a lot of fun!
Unfortunately not, the residence got reset. I did write a review which contains screenshots of most of the things you could find there. In my opinion stuff like this should get copied onto the games server so that players can re-visit these jewels from the past.
