  1. What's you're favorite update, think hard on this, (ask yourself which update could I have lived with if I could never have updated it afterwards (should I be able to choose!)?)

  2. Does no one have an answer?
  3. 1.11 definitely for me. I would like to include 1.7 and 1.12 though.

  4. Same with me 1.11 was an amazing update, however what still upsets me to this day is the 1.9 PvP change, that's when Minecraft changed forever.
  5. 1.4.2. It added the Command Block.
  6. Beta 1.8... Adding hunger and sprinting was huge for me. Was used to being all slow now... WOOOOOSH ZOOOM

  7. Well, I totally overlooked this thread.

For me it's "the latest version" so far. So 1.12 right now, but I still picked "other".

All versions were pretty awesome in my opinion but they all had their issues. 1.10 was solid, but around that time they also broke custom spawners. Probably not something you use, but if you're building and/or customizing your own maps it can be an annoyance. I definitely enjoyed 1.11 but they still broke automated potion brewing (fixed in 1.12).

And there are tons of examples like these.

So for me the latest version is the one which changed Minecraft mostly for me. I usually don't look back to older versions much.

  8. 1.9 because pvp isn't very fun

  9. So... Anyone else?
  10. I LOVED 1.8. When I saw a snapshot of it's contents, I was shocked and excited. 1.11 is okay. 1.12 and 1.10 are meh. 1.9 was a huge downer for me.
  11. I feel like 1.7 is the last update that really had a game changing experience for me. The rest weren't that special and ruined PvP for me
  12. Not my favourite, but Beta 1.8 changed the game for me. Introduced sprinting, the hunger bar, abandoned mineshafts, and so much more.

I guess full release 1.2 would have to be my favourite and 'changed the game' for me. Besides horses, anything added to the game after that update I don't agree with/don't know about/don't care about.

  13. I'd like to comment first on the work of art that is your profile picture.

1.9 changed the game the most from me, from a game I loved playing to a game that made me think "this was not a necessary update ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

(Mind you, I still love Minecraft, but perhaps not as much as I used to pre-1.9.)
  14. For me, I think the update that changed minecraft the most was Bètha 1.7 I think... as that was the update that made redstone interesting for me... (pistons)
