My Daughter now is on EMC!

  1. So! I was going to wait until Christmas, however, circumstance had it to where it was better to let my daughter (XLilSkitzX) know she was now a proud EMC player! So today, I told her! She is on smp6 with me! She is new, so bare with her. She is going to ask a lot of questions, and she isn't a fast typer. But she is a creative young lady, with a lot of personality, and GREAT building skills. She honestly was in shock I think the entire couple of first hours she got to play. Anyways I hope you all love her as much as I do. She is kind hearted, so please don't take advantage of that. She enjoys nature so this game really speaks to her. I hope you all become great friends :D

    That always puzzled me a little: how are you handling the situation when it's time for bed? ;) Could be hard telling your kids that they need to head off while you're also having fun on EMC :)

    You ought to tell her that if a 60x60 (or 120x20 space if a supporter) is too little room to build on, she can make a claim in our frontier for a sizable chunk of land to build on. Details on claim rules are in the Wilderness Frontier forum.

  10. Thank you all so much! Yes Elfin I have informed her of the mods, SS, etc....if she has an questions to ask you guys or me! Also about getting her to go to bed.....Its quite simple really......Go to bed or your grounded from minecraft. Talk about seeing a kiddo run! Lol. No she actually goes to bed when asked :) And yes Raiin 2 Skitz's . Though you will see a huge difference between her and I. She is more modernized. I am rustic lol.

  12. Nah, you simply have the wisdom of the ages on your side :p Ha ha ha, I have to admit that my play style also sometimes drives certain players a little crazy. Especially when mining then I insist on taking some time to prepare and grab stuff which can help (crafting table, water bucket, optional some chorus fruit (easily zaps you out of lava)) while others then sometimes "complain" and ask why I'm taking so long :)

    So yeah, this line stood out a bit, I think it was fun to read :)

  13. I do the EXACT same thing Shel! Whats taking so long Skitz gesh! But hey I am prepared gosh darn it! Yes, wisdom of ages, my husband found some gray hair the other day, my wisdom is starting to show :p
