  1. Hi gang!

    One month ago, the 15th of August, the developers released what I consider the most exciting update on the Empire so far: Anti-grief. This update also came with the announcement of a new senior staff service which allowed you to request your Frontier building to be protected, for a fee of course.

    I talk to quite a few players and I couldn't help notice that it almost seems as if hardly anyone has heard back about this so far. Either that or the players I've been talking to haven't been so lucky, that is also a likely possibility.

    So now I'd like for the community to proof me wrong (or right), as such this poll.

    Have you applied for this service and if so: has anything happened?

    But, yeah, I personally haven't used this, because I simply don't have anything in the wild, but I have heard of multiple people who have been helped.

  4. My only outpost in the frontier was griefed anyway, plus I accidentally died and lost all my stuff, so I don't really have anything worthy of protection.

  5. I have a spreadsheet with everyone's requests on it that I'll be working on personally over the next few days now that I'm back home. Aikar had to raise the block limit for Senior Staff+ . Some of these were taking hours of work, due to their organization underground and the need for multi-owner protection. With the fixes put in by Aikar, just before Minecon, the remaining auto-claims shouldn't take more than a few days.

  6. No, I was also hungry and it seemed like a funny poll addition :)

    Thanks for the update. I'm sure everyone understands that there's also real life (and Minecon!) which comes in between but as mentioned above I got a bit curious and I couldn't help think the same might apply to others too.

  7. I still haven't heard anything back about PWU, but I understand we're last on the list since those builds can't be an official claimed outpost. They're also probably going to be a nightmare for the staff because there are multiple builds in different locations, many people have done work on them, and the locked chest areas will give everyone heartburn since we want anyone to be able to lock an existing available chest at those builds.

    I know we're last in line for many reasons. If anyone can give me a heads up when they want to start planning this nightmare, that'd be great so I can make sure I'm available.

  8. We have yet to get to the non-established outposts, but are (I believe) 2-3 from starting them. Some of these established outposts are MASSIVE and it's awesome to get to visit them and see what you all have built.

    With the detail you listed here regarding PWU, I'm going to put a note to try to do this with you directly online. Otherwise it could take a very long time to work out what goes where based on your description. There is a lot of things to work around in order to meet all of your requirements.

  10. The service is meant to assign protection to blocks that were placed before the update, but if you forgot to enable build mode on a structure and want it to be protected at a later date, then you can submit a request.

  11. I really really appreciate it Kryssy. I know PWU is going to be a hassle for you guys. You have no idea how relieved and grateful I am to even be able to get it protected. I think my whole team is really tired of fixing them from griefings, and I know the mods will rejoice at not having my every other day "can you help me with a grief" conversations :)

  12. Has anything else been done on this? two weeks ago you said you were 2-3 away from starting the non-established ones and mine is definitely established. :D granted... its a little bit large.

    Edit: According to documentation, yours is done already.

  14. I made mine a pm as I was unable to fit all the info on the forum part. But have not hard back. I can bump it if needed. Also it's been established for over a year now.

  15. Please bump the convo, but I do not remember receiving any request in PM.

    I suggest filling in the form (multiple times, once for each request) and we'll have a better chance of getting this sorted.

  16. im building a town i got the bleu prints alredy and im pre building everything on a creative server first and im quite
    interested in the idia becouse as soon if it gets griefed ima be heartbroke i started tre real build 2 days ago so now i dos not rly matter but its a thing i rly need tho keep at hand whats that fee do ?
    and 2 i din't kwon that griefing happend alot at the frontier

  17. If you have yet to build. Just make sure you are building with /buildmode enabled. this way no one can break the block unless you have friends set to break your blocks.

    This service is for more if you have a build pre built on emc and the blocks are non common block that dont auto protect.

    Hope this helps on cell so kinda hard to type.

  19. Not really since Buildmode is on by default. So as long as you haven't changed your settings for the past two days then your wall is protected. To double check just have someone come and try to break a block.
