  1. I have semi-family that lives near one.
The dad died of lung cancer, I think. i just know it was a cancer.
The daughter was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer at the age of 11-12, is 19-20 now thanks to a LOT of treatment.
Youngest son was recently diagnosed with a minor type of cancer, can't remember what it was though.

    Definitely not a coincidence....
    1. Bernie Sanders will fix America. He'll take 4-8 years, and that'll be it, America will be all fixed up. He will redistribute the wealth equitably, and in the process end most crime, health problems, poverty, and educational underachievement. That's not to mention the environment.
    2. As an autistic person, his support for the anti-vaccination movement is what I most dislike. I like that his surname is a synonym for 'fart'.
    3. I dislike her apparent image as a career politician with few principles pushing populist liberalism while being sympathetic to large corporations. She's the American analogue of 'New Labour' and Tony Blair, and I do not like that. Even if you look at her donations, you will see they are all from large corporations, hedge funds etc. etc., while Bernie's donations are from unions. Says, it, all.
    4. Somewhat. I'm more preoccupied with my home, Northern Ireland, and Great Britain at the moment, though. Northern Ireland recently had revelations that the Provisional IRA still exists, but isn't operating, so one of our parties has left government and another has withdrawn all its ministers and will continually appoint and withdraw them forever, in an effort to take down our government completely and leave it in the hands of the Conservative Party.
    5. Everything Bernie Sanders is doing.

So disturbing but very much what I see on a daily .. people spout off garbage they've only heard or been told and haven't done any research or real thinking for themselves. BTW.. fox news is not a reliable 'news' source.
  3. Personally I would choose Ted Cruz as president.

  17. Now now, let's not pick on Faux News alone. CNN, NBC, CBS, and ABC can all join that pot and stew together. Personally, I follow some sage advice from one of my favorite artists, who recommends cross-referencing your news sources internationally (at least it works for world events). That way you can balance out all the skewing a bit and at least make a Venn diagram of journalism with some nugget of actual information in the center. :)

I think this might be one of the few points Gawa and I could agree on, in that mass media does spoon-feed us what "they" want the public to think - or at minimum, skews it in such a way as to influence our perception of events.
I thought the acronym was PITA...?
    (just kidding Krysyy!)
  18. lol, You're quite right Kephras. I never take anything (news) at face value and try to look at it from other view points and then using my own brain to determine what I think .. but yet and still, you will never really get the true picture.
.. but then again.. everything it says in wikepedia is absolutely the truest true. >_> mmhmm

  19. Wikipedia is the compiled truth of the universe. It is never wrong. Except when it is. Then it's "outdated."
