This SEAA has finished its chemical defoliant. While it is extremely effective at clearing vegetation, it is believed to cause long term health problems to those exposed. The substance is named Agent Green, and classified as a chemical weapon. The SEAA begins work on a different version of Agent Green that does not induce the health problems. (3 turns)
Sebia has detected some suspicious activity within Mongolia. We have recently noticed weapon usage increased dramatically. If the European Commonwealth doesn't get involved, then we will, and we will keep the land.
I strongly suggest against invading Mongolia, following the decisions from the World Summit. Set up strong border defenses, and if Mongolia attacks, ask for payment in either tech or land from EC. Invading Mongolia will almost certainly be seen as a hostile act by the EC. Counter-measures could be deployed at that point further damaging already stressed international relations with Sebia, or said counter-measures may remove Sebian influence over a certain area.
Invasion will be a last resort. We're hoping that the EC will get involved before anything happens. Once upgrades of the electronic computer are done we will move for defences around China's border.
The European Commonwealth would like to remind Sebia that they have ruled out their claim on the Mongol land and don't have the right to keep the land. If they even so much as put soldiers in Mongolia, they will be attacked by Commonwealth soldiers. The EC have increased troop activity by a small amount (those that their home countries will spare without a grant of permission from the Higher Council) in some of the larger Mongolian cities. However, a terrorist organisation known as the 'Fighters of the Free Country', who seek to make Mongolia an independent one-country nation and destroy both the European Commonwealth and Pacific Alliance, have started sacking small villages that exist along the Chinese-Mongol border and have control of some of the towns starting 100 miles away from the same border.
The 'Fighters of the Free Country' (FotFC) is a threat to Chinese people, Sebia and the Pacific Alliance. As you stated in the World Summit: "[23:23] <European_Commonwealth> It is our duty as nations to protect our populace from any possible threats whether they have the possibility of attacking or not." - the threat of war against FotFC was to protect our people. While we did waive our rights from Mongolia when we left the EC we still expect the EC to keep its satellite states under control, failure to do so will mean involvement by Sebia. We will be issuing Chinese troops along the border and will be executing anyone not officially allowed to be in China. Any Mongolians caught will be killed. If there is a problem with this then please state now or we will continue.
This is an excuse to use excessive force. You have already agreed with the NK to keep Mongolia as a buffer state, and invasion and/or occupation is a blatant violation.The EC controls a vast amount of land, and as such has a huge task defending it. Let the EC respond accordingly, and they will solve the issue in Mongolia. Now SoulPunisher, do you have an approximation on the forces of the FotFC? The new naval fleet for the RoC has been completed and has set a course for 300 miles off the coast of China. The stations along the Ireland border have finished construction. NES moves on to the production of a fleet of carriers, missile boats, and gunships to resume normal levels as many were destroyed during the war.
